This is a very exceptional handling of the matter of the textual evidence for the Bible. I was surprised to find a lot of guys (Bruce Metzger, D.A. Carson, Paul Maier) who don’t seem to make on the History Channel discussions on these sorts of issues.
[A sidenote: I felt like giving N.T. Wright another chance, since I blasted his lecture in an earlier post. The guy represents when it comes to reliability of Scripture.]
