You are the blessed God,
happy in yourself,
and the source of happiness in your creatures.
Our maker, benefactor, proprietor, upholder,
You have produced and sustained us,
supported and indulged us,
saved and kept us.
In every situation, you meet our needs and miseries.
May we live by you,
live for you,
and never be satisfied with our Christian progress
until we resemble Christ;
